With the Children

1. Make roadway tunnels by covering cylinders with contact paper, foil, fabric, or spray paint. (Foil is easiest to use, but it tears quickly. Fabric lasts a long time, but you’ll need to use fabric glue to adhere it to the cylinder. Spray paint works well, but it is messy. If you use it, cover the work surface thoroughly with newspaper and apply two coats. Contact paper is great, but it is hard to fit on the cylinder.)

2. Cut out photographs of tunnels, glue them to construction paper, and laminate them or cover them with clear contact paper, if desired.
